What Is A Nespresso Frother?
The Nespresso frothing wand is one of the most important pieces of equipment for making your own espresso drinks at home.
It allows you to make your perfect cup of coffee without having to head to your local coffee shop and wait in line.
Nespresso offers a range of coffee machines and similar products, so it can be confusing learning how each works and how to use them.
In terms of frothers, there are many different types.
For instance, you can find Nespresso coffee machines equipped with milk steamers integrated into the machine, or you can use the Nespresso milk frother called the Aeroccino.
For you convenience, we have got the Nespresso Vertuo espresso machine here, equipped with Aeroccino milk frother or if you simply want the Nespresso Aeroccino milk frother so that you can make your own lattes and cappuccinos, then we’ve got you covered here.
Today, we’re going to be talking you through how to use the Aeroccino frother, so that you can make barista style drinks anytime in the comfort of your own home! So, how do you use it?
How To Use Nespresso Milk Frother
The Nespresso Aeroccino is designed with simplicity in mind.
It is so easy, with just one button, one canister to place the milk, and just a few seconds to wait until you have beautifully frothed milk.
The Nespresso Aeroccino is actually very simple to use. All you need to do is remove the top lid, and fill up the inside with your favorite milk, and press the power button.
The Aeroccino will froth the milk for about 15-60 seconds, and you will have hot, bubbling milk in no time.
We do recommend that you use the Nespresso Aeroccino and froth the milk before you start brewing your espresso with a Nespresso machine, as the espresso only takes a few seconds to pull through, whereas the Aeroccino can take slightly longer.
So, if you want to get the timing just right, let the frother go first.
To use the Nespresso milk frother, you will first need to remove the lid, and ensure the frothing mechanism is fitted safely inside.
It can be removed in order to clean the machine, so ensure it is back inside and sitting in the correct position.
You can also remove the frothing spring if you just want hot milk rather than froth. It depends on your preference, and what kind of coffee beverage you want to make.
Next, pour the desired amount of milk to one of the max level lines inside of the Aeroccino.
There are two lines inside. One is the maximum level for milk froth and one is the maximum level if you just want hot milk. Use and fill the canister accordingly.
Make sure that you are only using milk in this device, and that it is ideally at room temperature for the best results.
Once you have filled up the machine, ensure that the lid is tightly fitted on top.
The Nespresso Aeroccino lid has a small rubber bumper to ensure that it fits neatly on top, and the pressure of the milk froth does not push it off and cause milk to fly everywhere.
After you’ve replaced the lid, you are ready to froth and roll! If you want hot milk froth, then press the power button just once, and Aeroccino will begin to prepare hot milk froth for you.
On the other hand, you can press and hold the power button until a blue light appears if you want and the machine will froth the milk, but leave it cold in case you want to create iced lattes or iced coffees.
The frothing process typically takes only 1 minutes to prepare, so whilst your milk is frothing, it’s time to brew your espresso.
We also recommend that you pour the hot milk into your cup or mug first and then either pour the espresso in, or brew it directly into the prepared cup with the milk.
This will give you a creamy, velvety and smooth cup of espresso with milk!
